Greeting Card Bandit

As shoppers hustled and bustled this Christmas season, the so-called "Greeting Card Bandit" struck in Bowling Green.

This time, the suspect walked away with $400 from the Lowe's and Advanced Auto Parts stores in Bowling Green.

Gerald "Drexel" Rogers is wanted in several jurisdictions across the country on charges of theft, fraud and probation charges. He frequents South Central Kentucky, and simply asks cashiers to change smaller bills for larger ones. The suspect deceives them by handing employees an envelope filled with napkins, not cash.

Rogers has gray hair, is 58 years old, stands at about 5'8" tall, and weighs around 215 pounds.

If you have any information that could help authorities, call the Bowling Green Police Department at (270) 393-4000.
