Registered Sex Offender Caught in Kentucky

A registered sex offender is caught in Pulaski County, after a high-speed chase.

32-year old Ronald Lee Giffin was apprehended by sheriff's deputies on U.S. 27.

Giffin was naked when he was caught, after leading authorities on a chase through three counties.

He's charged with kidnapping, attempted rape, and burglary.

The charges stem from an alleged assault on a 10-year-old girl in Boyle county.

The father heard his daughter screaming and that's when he ran to the garage, to find her and given naked.

Giffin then jumped in a truck and took off.

The girl was taken to an area hospital, where she was treated and released.
