Registering your vehicle in Kentucky may take longer than you may have thought.
Clerks in all Kentucky counties cannot conduct vehicle registration or title transactions from Jan. 1 through Jan. 3, 2003. The State must shut down the system for end of the year maintenance and to prepare 25 new clerks statewide. The halt in service only pertains to cars and boats.
