The Tennessee teenager who lost his right leg after a shark bite is recovering at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
Craig Hutto of Lebanon, 16-years-old, is listed in stable condition.
On June 27 he and a friend were fishing in the Florida panhandle when a shark bit him on his thigh. Hutto's leg had to be amputated. His older brother is credited with the rescue.
The teenager and his parents flew to Nashville from Panama City aboard a Vanderbilt Lifeflight aircraft.
Two days before Hutto's attack, 14-year-old Jamie Daigle, of Louisiana was killed by a shark 80 miles up the coast.
