The heat isn't stopping fans of the 24th Annual Corvette Homecoming. The event is in August this year so spectators can tour the GM plant.
It's also in a new venue, the WKU Ag Expo Center, which seems to be sitting well with fans.
John Ballard says: "It's in a new spot. It's real nice venue. Plenty of room. Before we had to share is with somebody or be in a restricted space. This way there's plenty of room here. 750 acres is enough room for cars and everybody."
Ballard is from Louisville. He is showcasing a 1959 Corvette with all the original parts.
The indoor area has a variety of vendors. There are booths for women and kids as well as corvette paraphernalia.
The gates open tomorrow at 9 a.m. There will be events all day until 5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and kids under 12 get in free.
