A Logan County teenager is dead after an ATV accident on Mar. 18.

The Logan County Sheriff's Department says 16-year-old Derek Robinson was killed after his ATV flipped and landed on top of him.

The accident happened at 6:30 p.m. in a field off River Road in Auburn.

Police say Robinson was riding with 16-year-old Michael Haley when they lost control while driving over a hole in an open field.

Haley was not injured.

Neither was wearing a helmet.
