I knew Dave through a business he had. He talked about GOD and his beliefs all the time. He was a devoted family man and a good guy all around. I'll reall ymiss him and pray for the best for his son. I pray for the lose of the other families as well.
If visibility was the problem, why does my daughter have nightmares recalling seeing the pick-up cross the median and hit our van head on? And why do all the witnesses describe the incident in CLEAR detail? I don't care what the contributing factors were. Some sort of barrier would have stopped the pick-up from crossing the highway and saved some lives if not all
I wish I had gotten the chance to know them. They used to go to the church that I go to now. I went with my friend to the funeral of the McGraths. It tore me to pieces. She was so young and full of life.
We are shocked at this news! Cassie and Jenny are wonderful young women!! Our sympathy goes out to everyone involved! This is tragic and horrific! Also, we wish for a complete recovery for Jenny!! You are in our thoughts!!!
It is so sad that an accident like this could have been prevented. A simple cross-over barier could have kept the pickup truck from crossing into the south bound lanes, and who knows may be have saved their lives as well as those of my family. These bariers can range from something like the concrete walls you see around Bowling Green, to something as simple as the steel cables you see around Lousiville. Please help us urge the government to build these bariers so this cannot happen to another family.
cassie was a very good friend i miss her so if they had blocked rails she wouyld have lived. i luv u cassie rest in peace and your mother also
This is so sad it hurts so bad i knew all of them they were the nicest people ive ever met. I kills me inside to know that they are gone. I give my love to chris i hope hes ok after losing his mom dad and sister.
WHAT A HORRIFIC ACCIDENT, AND TO KNOW THAT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED MAKES THIS SITUTION SO MUCH MORE SAD, IF PEOPLE WOULD JUST TAKE A LITTLE MORE TIME TO PAY ATTENTION AND WATCH WHAT IS GOING ON MAYBE IT WOULD CUT BACK ON FAMILIES BEING LOST. MY HEART AND PRAYERS GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY OF THE VICTIMES, AND ALL THAT WAS INVOLVED. I AM SO SORRY. GOD BLESS YOU AND FOR THE REST OF US IF THIS DON'T WANT TO MAKE YOU SLOW DOWN THEN NOTHING WILL.
Thank you for your prayers. It was my sister and niece. I wish it was a bad dream I could wake up from. My heart and prayers go out to the other family as I know how you must be hurting as well. God bless and keep you because I know He is there holding all of us with love.
It angers me every time I hear someone say that ATVs should be outlawed. People choose not to take heed of the warnings and labels on ATVs when purchasing them that say "never ride a passenger and always wear a helmet". It is NOT the ATV's fault if people choose not to use their common sense-same with an automobile. Are we going to outlaw automobiles if people choose not to use their common sense and wear a seat belt? There is no intent here to hurt the family's feelings that just lost their son-I truly feel for them, but this is something that EVERY ONE should seriously think about. Maybe if people hear this and think, it will at least save 1 life!
Thank you, that is my family.
I think instead of talking so much on taxing cigarettes they need to talk on taxing alcohol also because so many people are getting killed because of alcohol related accidents.

I think it was very tacky and unprofessional to show the blood that was splattered in the video of this accident. Afterall this was someone's family.
