Eight people were injured Mar. 20 in a bus accident near Toledo, Ohio.

Authorities in Seneca County, Ohio said the driver of the bus and seven children were injured in the incident.

Police said an oncoming SUV hit an icy patch, slid out of its lane and struck the bus in Tiffin, Ohio early on Mar. 20.

"We tried to get the doors opened and we couldn't, and of course it took the Jaws of Life because this lady in there, she's bleeding saying 'save my baby, save my baby,'" explained witness Stephen Hartenstein.

"They're little, I'm guessing nine, 10-month-old baby, in the car seat upside down, on the backside."

The accident remains under investigation.
