WKU Student Killed "Car Surfing"

A Western Kentucky University student from Louisville is dead from "car surfing."

Nineteen-year-old Benjamin Watson fell from a moving vehicle Saturday. He died Sunday from severe head injuries.

"Car surfing" is when a person stands on the roof of a moving vehicle. Watson is the second reported death in a week related to the stunt.

A Wisconsin teen was killed last Tuesday when he fell from the top of a Land Rover.

Watson had a full scholarship to Western and a 4.0 grade point average last semester.
