A Paducah woman accused of supervising children while under the influence of marijuana is charged with second-degree manslaughter.
26-year-old Peggy Ligon was charged in the death of five-year-old Sha'quawn Mcneely. Mcneely was killed while crossing a street.
Toxicology reports showed Ligon had a high amount marijuana in her system at the time she was supposed to be watching the child.
The driver of the vehicle wasn't charged. Ligon could face five to ten years in prison upon conviction.
