Kenny Roy Miller received 32 years. In 1992, he was sentenced to life in prison, after being convicted of the murder of Leon Gray and the attempted murder of Linda Cline in 1990. But last September the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals said Miller's attorneys were ineffective, and threw out his conviction.
Miller was to get a new trial this summer, but last week he pleaded guilty to the charges, and was sentenced to 32 years in prison today. Miller has already served 17-1/2 years of his sentence, so he's immediately eligible for parole.
