Kentucky Couple Wins Lottery

A Danville couple retrieves a four-million dollar lottery ticket after tossing it in the trash!

When Carol Daniels heard a four-million dollar ticket was sold at Kroger in Boyle County, she told her husband Paul who purchased the Lotto South tickets, but Paul said he threw it away.

Thank goodness he forgot to take out the trash the night before, because he was able to dig out the winning ticket.

The couple opted for a lump sum, and will take home more than
1.4-million dollars.

Carol and Paul say they plan on using the money to help out their kids. Carol is a principal at Mercer County Elementary, and Daniel is retired from the Kentucky School for the Deaf.
