An Oregon child may need a place to de-stress after she finds out the circumstances of her birth.

That's because her father is actually her mother.

That's right, a man says he is expecting to give birth to a baby girl in July.

Aaron Black owns the business next door to Define Normal T-Shirt Printing.

It's the company owned by this man, Thomas Beatie and his wife.

"Is Thomas pregnant?" asked Black.

"Oh. Oh. I have no idea. This is, I don't know. Why? I wouldn't know."

The seemingly pregnant picture appears on the website Advocate.com.

That's where Thomas Beatie himself writes about some interesting topics.

Thomas is five months pregnant.

He used to be a woman, but kept his female reproductive organs after a sex change.

He and his legally married wife are expecting a baby girl in July.

When asked if Black had seen Beatie's belly, Black replied,

"No. No. I haven't seen them here in a while."

Neighbors haven't seen the couple at their house for days.

One tells us they're in New York and that a TV crew, possibly from a tabloid, had been following their every move.

"Quite frankly I think it's a hoax," stated Ron Schlieper.

"I saw him a few days ago and he didn't look like that. He was walking down the street with who I thought was his wife, Nancy and I don't recall seeing a belly. If that was a month ago, he would have been much bigger just a few days ago."

Schlieper says Thomas Beatie's wife told him that she was pregnant.

But by phone, Thomas said this picture of him was taken a month ago.

Another neighbor tells us the couple left their house every week for fertility treatments in Portland.

In the article, Beatie writes he had to go through several doctors before finding one that would help him get pregnant.

The whole thing has caught people in neighboring businesses off guard.

"I'm just like whoa," laughed resident Deanna Smith.

"I couldn't say that he looks pregnant," exclaimed resident Josh Love.

"I can stick my stomach out and almost make it look like that."

i think that people have the right to do whatever they want weather that would be a sex change or not. Yes i have read some of the bible and i know that it says that god created us the way that we are for a reason and that we shouldn't be gay and all this other stuff, but people have the right to be there self no matter what anything says. And people have there own opinion's on things and thats cool too, but people sholdn't judge other people because of the way that they are. I think that that is critisism. And personally i think that this guy is really brave to be able to come and get pregnant. He kind of inspires me in a way because he's not afraid to be different and i think thats the koolest thing in the world.

I think this is great, gov. and religion should have no say in who we date, marry or what we do with or bodies. Religious people should not judge or make untolerant hurtful remarks about someone else's sexuality or way of living. This man was born a woman, kept his reproductive organs while changing his appearance... he was born with the gift of reproducing and he is using it, as nature intended.

God made us who we are. Why change that?

Let me just say that if a person is going to get a sex change from female to male they need to remove all parts and organs that could allow the person to get prejant after she has her sex change from female sex to male sex.

What is our goverment thinking. How do they think the money they are giving us going to help the country. Most people I have talked to says it is only going to buy gas for a month or so. If the want to help everybody and the country they need to do something about the price of gas and help keep jobs in the area. If they do this everything else will take care of itself. It is not going to be a quick fix that a few dollars is going to take care of.
