A man is behind bars right now after Lexington Police say he intentionally hit his girlfriend with his truck.

Police say 39-year old Jerry Dale Collins ran down 27-year-old Sara Hodgkin outside the Solid Platinum Nightclub where she dances.

Collins ran into the building as well.

He's been charged with DUI, wanton endangerment and assault.

Hodgkin was taken to UK Hospital, but has since been released.
