You may want to add gas to your list of supplies to purchase in anticipation of rough weather Tuesday.

Bowling Green gas stations get most of their supply from refineries in Louisiana that are now shutdown because of the storm.

The owner of more than 30 Minit Mart stores across the southeast says you're about to see a spike in prices.

"We're probably looking at anywhere from a week to two weeks for interruption in supply and increase in price," said Fred Higgins.

"We've talked about it. We all said we'd better fill up before it gets any higher," said Betty Robinson, a Bowling Green driver.

Minit Mart's owner says you may encounter a temporary shortage at some filling stations because gas that is usually trucked in from the south must be re-routed through other states.
