Cadets with Kentucky State Police have the next 22 weeks to prove themselves to the academy in Frankfort. If they do a new class of troopers will serve as law enforcement in many cities throughout Kentucky.
Kentucky state police have already contacted qualified candidates that did not make the initial cut to fill spaces made available after two quit. Empty spaces will be filled until the end of next week.
