Kentucky State Police are investigating an accident at the intersection of U.S. 68-80 and Hays-Pondsville Road in northwest Warren County. They say just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday, a white Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix suddenly made a U-turn in front of a burgundy Ford Escort. Two people in the Escort were injured when they struck the white car. They were taken to the Medical Center where they were treated and released. The white car left the scene of the accident.
Authorities are looking for a white Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix. There should be moderate damage to the driver's side, and the front turn signal will be missing. There may also be burgundy paint on the vehicle as a result of the collision.
