Milk Choice in Schools

The Warren County School system is encouraging kids to drink milk with their meals for the nutrients and to help them grow.

Gina Howard, the director of Warren County School's Food Services, says she is concerned about the extra fat milk sometimes has in it, so the district did a study of what kind of milk the kids were drinking. The study found 86 percent chose one percent or skim milk.

In order to encourage the kids to drink milk that's low in fat, the district offers different flavors in low-fat versions.
