After several months of planning, South Central Kentucky's new brand was unveiled Wednesday at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce.
"South Central Kentucky... Central for business. Southern for living" is part of a joint-effort aimed at marketing the entire South Central Kentucky region to prospective businesses and industries.
The brand is designed to highlight the central location and the southern hospitality that chamber leaders say are two key components in attracting companies to locate or expand in this area.
Designers hope the brand will allow prospects to get a good sense of who we are and what south central Kentucky has to offer.
Seven surrounding counties will also have the option of utilizing the brand and logo for their own economic development efforts.
