The inmate who escaped while test driving a car with a Larue County deputy jailer drives all the way to Wisconsin before getting caught. The deputy and 36-year-old Billy Joe Rucker were test driving a car owned by the deputy jailer's father. When the jailer went into the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Munfordville to use the restroom, he left the keys in the ignition, and Rucker escaped.
The Oak Creek, Wisconsin Police Department arrested Rucker on charges of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, and being a fugitive from justice in the second degree. He is currently in the Milwaukee County Jail awaiting extradition back to Kentucky.
