A Logan County man is indicted on 149 counts of sexual violations involving 10 children.

Kentucky State Police say the charges against 43-year-old Merlin Overholt include first degree sexual abuse and first degree sodomy with a victim less than 12, as well as engaging in an illegal sex act with a minor less than 16.

Overholt is currently lodged in the Logan County Detention Center on a $5-million cash bond.

Anyone with any information about this case is urged to contact KSP Detective Laura Isenberg at 782-2010.
