Family members say 11-year old Bruce Brasel was released from Vanderbilt Hospital Saturday, after spending six days recovering there from an attack that happened last weekend.
Police say Brasel was beaten-up by three juveniles in an equipment building behind Warren East Middle School. Two of the alleged attackers were his cousins.
He suffered multiple head injuries, a fractured collar bone and a broken arm.
The three children, all 12-years and under, were arrested in connection with the crime. Two were ordered to remain in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center, while the youngest was released last week.
The alleged attackers will be prosecuted as juveniles because they are younger than 14. Their next court appearance is scheduled for October 11th.
