Lt. Gov. Pence Presents Drug-Fighting Funds

South Central Kentucky now has almost half a million dollars more to fight the drug problem in your area.

Lieutenant Governor Steve Pence awarded $459,000 in grant money to a drug court jail treatment center, and 3 local drug task forces.

Pence says task forces like the one in Warren county are key tools in the fight on local drugs like meth.

"To deal with this problem, as you probably can imagine, we have limited resources in law enforcement. We have to make sure that every dollar is spent wisely and spent on serious problems," Pence said.

Butler, Grayson, Warren, Barren and Logan counties will all receive part of the grant money.
