A roof collapse at a South Eastern Kentucky coal mine has killed one miner.
Rescue crews are also searching for another who is missing and could be trapped by a wall of fallen rocks.
The 400-square-foot section of roof collapsed without warning around midnight on August 4, 2005.
The Executive Director of The Kentucky Office of Mine Safety and Licensing says there's an ongoing effort to rescue the other, operating on the assumption that he is still alive.
