A Monroe County man who faced attempted murder charges of police officers is found guilty.
Last November, Monroe county authorities say Jimmy Ray Geralds opened fire while hiding behind a vehicle when they arrived on the scene of a domestic dispute on Old Glasgow Road.
Geralds was found guilty on first degree charges of attempted manslaughter and could face the maximum sentence of 10 years behind bars.
Geralds also faces three more one year sentences and will have to pay $1,500 in fines.
He will receive his sentence on November 10th.
