A vintage Corvette may soon be stamped on a piece of your mail. A ceremony was held Monday morning to unveil the new Corvette collectible stamp. The stamp, featuring a 1953 Corvette, is one of five stamps in a set called "America on the Move: Sporty Cars of the 50s.”
The official ceremony for the commemorative stamp set was held this past Saturday in Detroit. A second day cancellation ceremony was held Monday at the National Corvette Museum. The collector's item was available on site at the museum Monday. Only a limited number of cachet envelopes featuring the Corvette stamp and cancelled with the special postmark will be available for purchase.
