A Todd County man was injured when he lost control of his motorcycle this weekend.

Kentucky State Police say 24-year-old Jonathan Scott of Elkton, was traveling west on Hadden Mill Road on April 19, when he lost control of his motorcycle on a curve.

Scott and his motorcycle slid into a rock-filled ditch, which caused it to overturn several times.

He was taken to Elkton by Todd County EMS and then transported to Vanderbilt by Air-Evac.

Scott was not wearing a helmet.

Why is it at the end of every report of a motorcycle wreck the ending line is he wasn't wearing a helmet? Did he have a head injury? If he did you didn't report it. I don't know if you have noticed but Kentucky doesn't have a helmet law.. It's not the same as saying wasn't wearing a seatbelt. WBKO is political enough. We don't need your opinion on motorcycle helmets.

When are people going to say enough with the high gas prices and fight back or are we just going to keep on struggling. If we fight back we can change it, its our country and our familiesthat that suffer especially those of us that do not have alot any way. Lets take our country back.

Why is that I have to wear a seatbelt in a car, but you don't have to wear a helmet on a motorcycle? I just don't understand!
