One area school is using creativity to bring something new to the gymnasium. Students at Bristow Elementary are literally climbing the walls as part of a new physical education program.
Students of all grades are testing their rock climbing skills on a traverse rock wall. Physical Education teacher Cheryl Harlow says maneuvering the wall teaches students concentration, planning, and persistence. Students say they enjoy the workout and hope to hit the outdoors soon.
