The Federal Emergency Management Agency says it's provided nearly $8.7-million in aid across Kentucky after February's tornadoes.

Nine counties in Kentucky were declared federal disaster areas after the storm, including Allen County, where four people were killed.

FEMA gave more than $120,000 to residents of Allen County, where officials had criticized the agency, saying residents were angered by rejections for aid.

FEMA released figures showing there were 27 applications from Allen County for assistance.
