At the University of Wisconsin about two dozen members of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity have no place to live after their fraternity house went up in flames late on May 12.

It took firefighters about 2 1/2 hours to bring the blaze under control.

The rear of the three-story house was destroyed.

No injuries were reported, but the timing is bad because this is finals week.

An entire semester's worth of notes and work is now gone along with their textbooks.

I'm a computer professor at Marshall University in Huntington, WV and I'm very sorry you lost your fraternity house, furnishings, clothes, books, etc. especially with the semester almost over. However, I was 14 when I saw the towering flames raging when Marshall and Huntington lost 75 lives and devestated so many families who lost their parents, brothers, friends and so much more. Fraternity houses can be rebuilt, new pledges can rush, and books are always for sale. Be thankful you still have each other. God spared your lives for a reason. Be sure to make it worth while.
