Saint Joseph preschoolers put the pedal to the metal on May 16 in the Saint Jude Trike-A-Thon!

During the past few weeks, the preschoolers have been learning about outdoor bicycle safety and fundraising and today was the day they took what they learned to the race track!

The students rode laps on their bikes in the school parking lot to raise money for Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.

This is the second year of the Trike-A-Thon and the event is something all the students look forward to.

"It's one of the best days in the whole school year," stated Alice Whitaker.

Last year the preschoolers raised more than $1,400.00.
