Blue, green, white, yellow, and red - all colors of the rainbow and all different categories of fruits and vegetables. Students at Holy Trinity Lutheran School are attempting to eat 5 fruits and vegetables a day.
Workers from the Health Department are talking with students about the importance of expanding their tastes and trying different fruit and vegetables. To take the challenge a step further within each grade.. classes are competing against each other to see which class can meet the 5 a day challenge. Cafeteria manager Charlotte Oller says she hopes students will learn to make healthier choices when snacking at school or home.
