Bowling Green City Commission Meeting Highlights

The Bowling Green City Commission heard a presentation by Bowling Green Police Chief Bill Waltrip at its meeting on Tuesday.

Chief Waltrip outlined the re-organization of the police department that became effective on Jan. 1.

The Commission also awarded an Enterprise Grant to the Hispanic Resource Grant. The center will use the $2,189 to pay for insurance expenses.

Hartland Golf Course now has a new name. The city commission approved a proposal to change the name to Crosswinds Golf Course.

The next city commission meeting will be held on February 4 at 7 p.m. at the Bowling Green City Hall.
