Starting May 28, more than a dozen horses involved in an animal cruelty case in Rockcastle County will be up for adoption.

Officials seized 21 horses from their owner Jerry Campbell earlier this year.

They say there were also five dead horses on the same farm.

Campbell has been charged.

The animals were being cared for by the Rockcastle County Animal Shelter.
