It was closed for nearly two years, but the golf course at General Burnside Island State Park has re-opened with a brand new look.
An opening ceremony for the newly designed course on Lake Cumberland was held on June 4.
The course is now among the state parks Signature Series and features a driving range, re-designed pro shop and some new challenges.
"Here at Burnside Island, I purposely designed every green, so no matter which way you're putting, believe me, take my word for it, it's going to break toward the water," said Brian Ault, who designed the course.
Golfers can also buy packages that include overnight stays at nearby Cumberland Falls State Park.
