A former member of Warren County’s fiscal court pleads guilty to drug trafficking.
Monday morning, former magistrate Terry Stahl, pleaded guilty in Warren Circuit Court to three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.
He is expected to be sentenced to five years in prison, on January 31.
The Warren County-Bowling Green Drug Task Force arrested Stahl last March, after he sold crack cocaine to a confidential informant.
The DTF and Bowling Green Police had investigated Stahl for three months prior to his arrest.
His term on Warren County’s Fiscal Court ended in 2002 when he lost a bid for re-election.
Stahl's attorney says Stahl has accepted responsibility for his actions, and is extremely active in his own recovery, and the recovery of others in rehab.
