The Barren River Health Department will no longer be giving out the flu vaccine to the general public.
Instead, they are moving back to a system they used last year in order to get the vaccine out to those who need it.
According to Barren River Health Department, the change is nothing like last year's shortage of the vaccine.
It’s simply a move they felt was necessary to make sure senior citizens and preschool age kids aren't stricken with the illness.
Despite the tier, the health department says it will honor anyone who has already made an appointment to receive a flu shot.
But if you haven't, you can still check with the clinic to see when they will be open to the general public.
