Manitou, Ky. (WBKO) – Kentucky State Police say they are investigating a two-vehicle, injury collision that happened at the intersection of KY 630 (Manitou Road) and Beeny Lane, approximately two miles north of Manitou, on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m.
KSP says the preliminary investigation revealed Thomas E. Berry, 62 of Central City, was operating a 2006 Dodge Caravan northbound on KY 630.
Nancy M. Burnett, 60 of Dixon, was operating a 2003 Toyota Highlander southbound on KY 630.
KSP says as both vehicles approached the intersection, Berry attempted to turn left in front of Burnett. The vehicles crashed in the southbound lane.
Both drivers were transported via ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment. Troopers say Berry was not wearing a seatbelt. Burnett was wearing a seatbelt. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
