"It's been pretty hectic all morning. Wet, icy, cold. A lot of different things going on."
A day like this can mean big business for tow truck companies.
"It's been a wild day today. We've done pulled out ten this morning."
Greg Embrey has been towing vehicles for 18 years.
"Depends on the weather. I have done as many as 50 a day in a 24 hour period."
He says this morning was rough but no where near as bad as last year's winter storms. Although he's not entirely optimistic about this year.
"If the temperature stay us we'll be alright. If it goes down, we're going to have some pretty bad road conditions."
He says weather like we had today can cause some of the worst wrecks because the roads don't look slick and drivers go faster than they should. He advises everyone to use caution while out driving. After working all day in the cold and slippery conditions everyone else is driving in, Embrey says it doesn't faze him.
"I'm pretty good right now. It's 35 degrees. When it gets 17 then ask me."
