Local celebrities tried out a new job today, spending the lunch hour taking drink orders and waiting on customers.
Tumbleweed hosted a celebrity serve to benefit Saturday’s "Jingle Bell Run" for the Kentucky Arthritis Foundation.
Servers on staff were accompanied by area police chiefs, radio personalities, and even our own Whitney Ray and Gene Birk.
Tumbleweed also hosts a celebrity serve in October for cystic fibrosis.
All tips collected during the lunch hour went to the Arthritis Foundation.
The total was nearly twelve hundred dollars.
