An agency dedicated to bringing lessons to life receives a hefty grant that will help spread their message.
Kids on the Block is a non-profit organization that uses puppets to teach young people about social issues.
This morning, Allstate Insurance presented the agency with a ten thousand dollar grant.
Executive director Debbie Hayes says this money will allow them to take their message even further.
Hayes says Kids on the Block currently has two scripts dedicated to fire safety.
She says the money will help with the cost of safety show performances, the upkeep of puppets, props and materials, as well as the purchase of materials for the educational packets.
