Kentuckians having trouble with their heating bill could soon be getting help from the government.
Yesterday the Kentucky House unanimously approved a bill that would take 5 million dollars from the state's rainy day fund for community action groups that help the poor pay to heat their homes.
The bill will now head to the Senate.
If approved the law would go into effect immediately.
