It took a ton of cooperation between Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, and the Housing Authority, to move the home from Western's campus five blocks to its new home on Clay Street.
Western provided the house for free. The city provided the clay street lot for free. The housing authority paid $40,000 for the move. And $30,000 to $40,000 from the "Historic Preservation Fund" will help the new owner, Mary Curtis, pay for renovating the house.
