An entry on Governor Fletcher's calendar places him in a key meeting.
During the meeting, a list of employees targeted for termination was submitted to top administration officials.
The calendar entry was one of the documents Attorney General Greg Stumbo turned over to the state Personnel Board.
Fletcher's administration is downplaying the importance of the calendar entry and the other documents released by Stumbo.
Fletcher spokeswoman Jodi Whitaker says the documents are meant to create media spin. She says the only thing discussed at the meeting related to personnel was non-merit hiring.
A Franklin County special grand jury has been investigating Fletcher administration hiring practices since last May.
The grand jury has indicted 13 current or former administration officials and associates.
