Buckets of Hope

THE RESULTS ARE IN FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF THE "BUCKETS OF HOPE" CAMPAIGN AT AREA SCHOOLS. THE FAMILY ENRICHMENT CENTER STARTED THEIR PENNY DRIVE LAST WEEK AT SOME LOCAL SCHOOLS...TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHILD ABUSE AWARENESS.
THIS IS THE THIRD YEAR FOR THE FUNDRAISER...THAT RAISED NEARLY TEN-THOUSAND DOLLARS LAST YEAR. SO FAR...BRIARWOOD ELEMENTARY HAS RAISED THE MOST MONEY WITH MORE THAN 12-HUNDRED DOLLARS...WITH NORTH WARREN ELEMENTARY FOLLOWING BEHIND WITH MORE THAN SEVEN-HUNDRED. THE SCHOOLS WILL BE COLLECTING FOR THE DRIVE FOR ONE MORE. THE WINNING CLASSROOM IN EACH SCHOOL WILL GET A FREE MEAL FROM WENDY'S...AND IF THAT DOESN'T GET THE CHILDREN EXCITED...THEN MAYBE A TENNESSEE TITAN'S FOOTBALL PLAYER WILL. NUMBER 51 FOR THE TITANS...ROB REYNOLDS HAS AGREED TO VISIT THE OVERALL SCHOOL WINNER FOR THE BUCKETS OF HOPE DRIVE. ORGANIZERS OF THE CAMPAIGN ARE HOPING THAT THIS WILL PROVE TO BE A NICE INCENTIVE FOR THE STUDENTS DURING THIS LAST WEEK OF FUNDRAISING.
