A fire at an area plant evacuated several employees for some time.
A series of explosions at part of the Bluegrass Specialty Flooring company caused the evacuation.
According to Fire officials the fire started in a main silo at the plant.
Fire officials were trying to prevent the sawdust inside the silo from catching fire and spreading to another part of the facility, and causing harm to employees.
The Bowling Green Fire Department had several units on the scene for about five hours.
Bluegrass flooring officials say employees won't return to work until next week.
Fire officials will continue to monitor the situation at the plant.
