Governor Ernie Fletcher will be in the hospital at least one more night.
Doctor Joseph Fine said today that he is prescribing more rest for the governor before sending him home.
Fine removed Fletcher's gallbladder yesterday, a day after Fletcher had another procedure to remove a gallstone.
Fine says typically patients will require five to six days of hospitalization for such procedures. Originally, it appeared that Fletcher might have been released sooner than that.
It's also unclear whether Fletcher will be able to return to work at his office next week as doctors originally thought he might.
First Lady, Glenna Fletcher, says she had to take the governor's Blackberry away, but has now returned it. She says the governor is doing some minimal work through phones and Emails.
