"Meth"od to Madness: Meth and Children

You may hear about busted meth labs about every week, but what you probably do not hear about, are the children affected by the drug.

Kids who have parents or other relatives that use meth face dangers on multiple fronts. Emotionally, parents are not able to offer the care needed to raise kids.

Additionally, Social Service Clinician Mike Pierce says children tend to think their parents' drug use is their own fault. The chemicals involved in meth use could also cause physical problems that could hurt children throughout their lives.
