Governor Fletcher on Feeding Tube

By Associated Press |

The governor of Kentucky remains in a Lexington hospital and has now been put on a feeding tube.

The executive secretary of Ernie Fletcher’s cabinet says the feeding tube does not mean his condition has worsened.

Robbie Rudolph says doctors are simply giving the governor's pancreas a chance to rest.

The tube allows food to be digested without help from the pancreas.

Rudolph says Fletcher is somewhat better than he was the last few days and continues to not have a fever.
