The system is being made possible by a nearly $400,000 grant from the Kentucky Office of Justice Programs. WKU police Captain Mike Wallace says the TV system is something several campus departments have been talking about. The campus already has some surveillance cameras, but there's no campus-wide monitoring system. The first phase of the security project will be done by the end of September. It will include campus parking lots and remote areas.
